Job Title: Loan Originator Assistant​​

Job Location(s):  Garfield, NJ; Paramus, NJ; Clifton, NJ; Hoboken, NJ

The Basics:

  • Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

  • Periodic off site- Open houses, face to face meetings, networking events, etc.

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday Sales Calls

  • Weekly one-on-one with MLO

  • Weekly Strategy meeting and Open House or Office tour with Team

  • Monthly All Hands Meetings

  • Friday Check-in with 7 Geese + Score Card submission

The Responsibilities:
In Process Originations

  • Scrub Encompass loan application prior to submission to opening department.

  • Confirm accuracy on important information including SS, DOB, legal name, residence history, employment history, declarations and real estate owned.

  • Review AUS findings for waivers or Day 1 certainty eligibility

  • Assist with the collection of documentation and processing of customer applications

  • Welcome email and phone call to all originated loans

  • Request for photo ID, income docs, Asset docs, REO docs, Condo Docs if applicable, purchase contract

  • Request letters of explanation for inquiries, addresses, aka’s, work or residence history, etc.

  • Correspond with all parties to resolve questions regarding application information inclusive of borrower, buyer and seller agents, attorneys, title company, PMC ops team LP/UW/Closer.

  • Send note cards and update CRM

  • Send pre-approval letters and/or commitments to borrowers and realtors upon request.

  • Purchase closing gifts for buyers and periodically attend local closings.

  • Request referrals and post-closing communication

Branding + Networking

  • Periodic face to face interaction as well as written direct mail, phone, text, social media and e-mail contact with borrowers and referral partners.

  • Ninja all new/unique parties on new files

  • Add any new realtors, vendors and attorneys to Velocify

  • Handwritten note to congratulate listing agent

  • Request 4x4’s for all new additions

  • Set calendars for Nicole to call new leads personally

  • Daily posting on social media- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In for the Team

  • Bring inventive and fresh marketing ideas to light.

Calendar Management

  • Manage Loan Originator's calendar and assist in setting appointments

  • Face to Face with all referring partners each quarter

  • Weekly face to face with new/unique referral partner prospects

  • Attend Networking events with PMC employees

  • Coordinate hosted events, lunches, meetings, conventions, etc.

  • Set up Open House schedule for Team on Wednesdays

  • Pull public Open Houses on Saturdays/Sundays

The type of person who would do well in this job is someone with:

  • General knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.

  • Highly detailed and organized with the ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent telephone, communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Excellent at enthusiastically findings solutions to problems.

  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work closely within a team structure.

  • Must be able to thrive in a fast pace, constantly changing team environment

  • Working knowledge of MS Windows Operating System and MS Office Applications.

  • Working knowledge of Encompass LOS, Velocify a plus but not required
