The Escalation Specialist is an advanced subject matter expert in Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans. They serve as the central point of contact for internal loan officers and underwriters in need of assistance, providing a thorough understanding of product and policy guidelines. This is a para-leadership role, in which they may also function as a backup to the Underwriting Team Lead. This can be a demanding job, but the reward is huge personal and professional growth, with the chance to be part of something amazing!

We are looking for someone who:

  • Thinks independently

  • Argues open-mindedly and assertively

  • Values the intense pursuit of truth and excellence

  • Committed to rapid improvement in themselves and the organization

We want the people we work with to be considerate and have a high sense of personal accountability to do the difficult, right things. We look for people with generous natures and high standards of fairness. Most importantly, they must be able to put their egos aside and assess themselves candidly. They must have high levels of integrity (doing what they say they are going to do) and discipline.

  • Encompass-related experience preferred

  • Intermediate computer/internet skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once
